Yumeiho Therapy – a Universal Therapy for Everyone

Yumeiho therapy is a posture correction therapy that includes various massage techniques and joint correction techniques. The goal of Yumeiho therapy is to find the cause of the problem and eliminate it, based on the patient’s symptoms. Yumeiho therapy is a combination of the deep traditions of Eastern medicine and innovative modern medicine.

Although Yumeiho is a method designed to be mainly preventively applied, it is still called „therapy“ due to the fact its main purpose is treating or reducing the causes of functional disorders which, in time, may result in chronic sufferings.

Yumeiho therapy was invented in 1978 in Japan by Dr. Saionji Masayuki Saiki Otsuki, director of the Center for International Preventive Medicine. The Institute is located in Tokyo and was later renamed the Yumeiho Institute. Master Saionji has carefully analysed many ancient Japanese and Chinese methods (Anma, Seitai Ho and Shiatsu), chosen the most effective techniques and integrated them into one. This is how the new Yumeiho Therapy was created.

Yumeiho is a therapeutic system consisting of a specific number of treatments (depending on the number and severity of pathologies). The duration of one therapy session is 40–60 minutes. The therapist applies about 100 different techniques during the session. It helps to solve a specific problem.

Yumeiho therapy exercises the joints (from head to toe) and muscles throughout the body. The nervous system, which falls under one of the meridians, is also positively affected. The session also includes visceral therapy, which is a massage of the internal organs to restore the position and function of the organs and the structures around them.
